Reception Assistant Position
The BC Conference of the Mennonite Brethren Churches has an immediate opening for a part-time Reception Assistant. The successful candidate will be in agreement with the MB Confession of Faith, model Christ-like service, be friendly and act responsibly in presenting the Conference office to the MB community and abroad. The Reception Assistant performs a variety of reception and clerical tasks including responding to phone and walk-in inquiries, administering the ICBC fleet insurance policy (including NSC inspections reports), administering the group licensing program and management of the office. The Reception Assistant also assists the Bookkeeper/Executive Assistant with the accounts payable and deposits/receipting functions. Furthermore, the Reception Assistant ensures that all such transactions are accurately recorded in the receipting data base. In addition, the Reception Assistant assists in the execution of all ministry events and support ministries that relate to BCMB ministries undertaken jointly.
