To: Credentialed Ministers of the BC Conference of MB Churches,
The Pastoral Ministries Committee together with the Conference Minister has been given the responsibility of exercising ‘theological watch care’ for the BC Conference of MB Churches. Part of this task involves interviewing people before they are credentialed. For many Ministers, years or even decades have passed since the original credentialing interview. In order for the Pastoral Ministries Committee to fulfill its mandate, it must do more than simply assume all credentialed pastors continue to affirm the BCMB Confession of Faith and commitment to BCMB. As it would be a prohibitive task to re-interview pastors, the Covenant Renewal Document allows the Pastoral Ministries Committee to fulfill its responsibility to the Conference.
As part of the credentialing process you affirmed the following Covenant.
At this time we request that you renew your covenant by responding to each question with yes, no or provide an explanation. Please send this document to the BCMB office via email or fax.

3. I am willing to participate in the Provincial Conference programs and be accountable to the Board of Pastoral Ministries
4. I wholeheartedly subscribe to the Mennonite Brethren Confession of Faith in all its aspects
